Summer transfer window
Will be absolutely massive and will probably set the course of this club in the future. Rice will probably leave, Bowen might as well. We'll need to sign up to 6 top players if we want to progress. Is Moyes capable of handling a big budget and signing that many players in one window? Personally think his unwillingness to take risks will be a huge issue even with the list of targets provided to him by Newman. Sullivan in charge of transfers is a worry as well as it has always been. Not looking good.

Re: Summer transfer window
We're going to need 8 players in the summer, at the moment getting half that looks a massive ask

We will be heading into next season with yet another thin squad and probably with less quality in it.

Luck will run out eventually, few injuries and sliding towards the bottom like Leeds this season

Re: Summer transfer window
Does anyone now expect this Czech prick to actually spend any money in the summer?

🎶 Tight Czech bastard get out of our club 🎶

deal, there’s also a new investor who’s hates the idea of bringing in too many players in one go…..

Re: Summer transfer window
Areola, just on loan. For him to stay we have to buy him.

Kral just on loan. Same situ as Areola. He’s not good enough either.

Frederiks leaving on a free. Arguably don’t need replacing.

Nobles last season. Needs replacing.

Yarmalenko leaving on a free.

What a fucking mess. Come summer we are going to need to pay out for a GK, LB, CB, 2 x CMs, 2 x ST at least.

That’s without any other players leaving and we all know the Rice situation.

What a mess the squad is in. If Moyes is not nervous he should be.

Agreed, I missed the word summer but will save a drop for then.

Re: Summer transfer window
We have missed a trick here big time. There will be no Euro football next season, our players will naturally burn out as the season reaches an end. No fault of them, we have a very good 1st team, but that is it. 11 good players who are immense when on song.

Thereafter, we are seriously lacking.

Re: Summer transfer window
I reckon sadly Rice will be a Man City player next season. Unless we can sign his mate Mason and link them up!

Re: Summer transfer window
I make it 6 minimum in the summer, GK, LB, CB, CM & 2 forwards. That’s without Rice going our anyone else out the door. We’re gonna be short, which is why moyes is a cunt for not sorting a bit of it out now.

Re: Summer transfer window
I said the other day just with end of contract players, retirements and those we want out of the door the total out comes to around 10 or 11. That doesn't include bids for Rice, Bowen or anyone else and it also doesn't include ageing players like Fabianski and Ogbonna. An unaffordable rebuild as you aren't getting much for outgoings apart from Rice and even if you got 150 million you would possibly need 8 or 9 players with that.

Re: Summer transfer window
Pedro Masuaku and potentially Bowen even as well. Lanzini and Cress in their last year of contract. It's a mess.

In the next day or so I will doubtless receive a mail punting the usual ‘quality’ attire
I’m inclined to mail back saying thank you, I’ll take your West Ham London pyjama set, for fuck all, Kip in them until September and in the event I wish to keep them, pay, otherwise I’ll send the soiled tat back at no cost

Re: Summer transfer window
It'll be nice in the summer watching the Rice auction get under way, along with Bowen and possibly Soucek as well. I reckon that will net them approximately£175m. They will then let Dithering Dave, maybe have £25m to try and keep us in the division. Always something to look forward to supporting the 'ammers

I'd be absolutely gutted if Rice left proper World Class and a good lad to have in the mentality department in the team.

Re: Summer transfer window
Will be huge turnover

Got to think these will all go for various reasons

Rice
Noble
Yarma
Fredericks
Diop
Randolph
Kral

This was the massive window, we blew it and we blew it big time. That should give you all the answers you need to what will happen this summer.
